REVIVAL IS COMING TO NIGERIA (PART 4)

Like the sons of Issachar, we must understand times and seasons and anyone who is alert to the spiritual would discern that we are in a season of revival.
There is revival in the air, it is brewing and as Christians in Nigeria, we should prepare ourselves to be a part of it. God has His eyes on Nigeria, it may not seem so sometimes but the ways of God are not the ways of men. The mouths of prophets in times past and even now have confirmed the designs and plans of God for the nation, Nigeria and His intent of revival for the world through this nation.
In previous editions, we had looked at prophecies from decades past, but let us consider one prophecy from recent times.
“This year is revival, you will see all kinds of people, notorious people turning over to the Lord and those that have been playing church will catch some flame, a mighty devotion unto the Lord will spring forth.
Habakkuk 3:1-2
“A prayer of Habakkuk the prophet upon Shigionoth. O LORD, I have heard thy speech, and was afraid: O LORD, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy.”
The Germans, what God gave them is technology to make engines. When you talk about education and learning, the UK comes to mind, when you talk about technology, no one can best the Chinese but what God gave Nigeria is Revival.
Everytime we prospered as a nation, it was because revival was kindled.
It was the SU revival of the 70’s that gave birth to the discovery of oil in Nigeria, it is that oil we began to worship that led to our doom. The story of Nigeria cannot be told outside of revival. This year cannot be separated from the tale of revival, God is coming back, He is coming back to the land. There is a work God began, there is a texture of a warrior church beginning to emerge that was with the rise of Babalola, until a different gospel invaded our land and the church suffered for it and the hearts of men were turned from God to vain things and the glory was lifted but now there is a work, a work of revival that God wants to do. There is a work He did in this land that He wants to revive, we must keep praying, let us pray.”
Excerpts from “The coming revival in Nigeria, 2021 -Apostle Arome Osayi (Prophecy)”
Till we see what God has ordained for Nigeria, till we see her exuding and operating in the realms of Glory, till we see people weeping in the streets, proclaiming their love for God and their desire to turn away from corruption and practices of the flesh, we have to keep praying.

Let’s pray these prayers for Nigeria, right now.
PRAYER FOR NIGERIA
Proverbs 15:3a
The eyes of the LORD are in every place.
Oh Gracious God, I thank you for not forgetting Nigeria, thank you for always having your eyes upon her, for being faithful towards her even when she had been unfaithful.
Ezra 7:24
Also we certify you, that touching any of the priests and Levites, singers, porters, Nethinims, or ministers of this house of God, it shall not be lawful to impose toll, tribute, or custom, upon them.
Father, we pray that as your revival brews in Nigeria, that government policies and the laws of the land will favour rather than hinder its spread in the name of Jesus.
Philippians 1:6
Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.
Oh Great God, you never leave anything half way, we pray that you complete the great work of revival that you have begun in the body of Christ in Nigeria that your name will be glorified in the name of Jesus.
