In the words of Arthur Tappan Pierson, “There has never been a spiritual awakening in any country or locality that did not begin in united prayer” All revivals can trace their roots back to the place of prayer and if we want to see the church revived again, we would need to give ourselves and our time to prayer. No prayer, no revival! We must learn to start and end our day in the place of prayer. Psalms 51:10,12
Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.
Oh Lord my father, create in me a clean heart and purify my heart that i may have the joy of my salvation restored to me in the name of Jesus!
Psalms 42:1-2
As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God. My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?樂威壯 >
My God and father, rekindle your fire in my spiritual life that i may hunger and thirst for the word of God, for prayers and fasting, revive my spiritual altar and walk with you in the name of Jesus!.
Acts 5:12
And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon’s porch.”
Oh Lord, cause us to have a renewed vision of the power of the name of Jesus Christ and of the Word of God like the early church had so we can experience power like they did and even more in the name of Jesus.
Isaiah 37:32
“For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, and they that escape out of mount Zion: the zeal of the LORD of hosts shall do this.”
Father, we pray in the name of Jesus, that you fill the church with fresh passion and zeal for evangelism and soul winning that we will experience a great conviction and influx of souls.
Psalms 80:14
Return, we beseech thee, O God of hosts: look down from heaven, and behold, and visit this vine;
Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray that you look down in mercy upon the nations and visit us once again.
Isaiah 45:22
Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.
Father, we pray that you cause the eyes of the lost in the nations, from the seats of power to the common man, to be turned towards You, that we may experience a global revival in the name of Jesus.
As often as you perceive you have strayed away from God, pray these prayers and find your way back to Him.
